Winter Fishing with Captain Bob

Since Lake Tahoe does not freeze, the winter fishing is superb. After a winter storm, the high pressure comes in to the region and the lake becomes a mirror. The sun is up high in blue skies, and there's no wind plus you'll be fishing from a 3/4 enclosed bimini top and sides - it's warmer than you think! Locally, it's called "Glass Fishing", and the only ripples are caused by your catch being pulled up on the boat.

What to wear?

Captain Bob says: "I usually wear shorts and a t-shirt with a sweatshirt and a jacket (layering) and maybe a pair of sweat pants over your shorts".
